Get to know Jamie Ross...
Currently at FBC-Centralia, Jamie Ross is the Interim Youth Pastor. Jamie is a native of Center, MO, and a 1988 graduate of Mark Twain High School. He attended Culver-Stockton College from 1989-1991 where he met his wife, Dawn. They married June 27, 1992, and have two children: Logan and Kailin.
Jamie made his profession of faith in April 1995. He graduated from St. John’s School of Radiology in 1995. Jamie surrendered to the ministry January 2002, began seminary Fall 2002, and became a licensed minister in January 2003. He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Theology and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Religious Studies from Excelsior College. Jamie has served as an Associate Pastor of Student Ministries, Adult and Collegiate Sunday School Teachers, G.R.O.W Prayer Ministry Captain and has been actively involved in other ministries of the church and in the local community. He currently works at University Hospital in Columbia as a Radiologic Technologist.
Jamie loves reading God’s word, spending time with his family, playing/coaching sports and just being outdoors. He has a heart’s desire to serve the youth of our community and has a gift connecting with them.
